Fixed Assets & Projects Lead, Finance - ITV Together

This role entails

 

ITV Together is the largest global programme happening at ITV, involving people from across the business. It's all about redesigning how we work and interact through our people, HR, Finance and Production Finance processes and systems. It will bring modern, simple and connected ways of working and technology to our evolving global business, supporting our More than TV strategy and ITV Fast Forward initiative

This is a key role on the Finance team, designing our future processes and ways of working supported by the implementation of new technology across ITV globally. 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the project team and key stakeholders globally, co-create and implement future Fixed Assets and Projects ledger processes, systems and ways of working
  • Remove complexity across systems and processes globally, by challenging legacy ways of working and implementing best practice 
  • Support the Change team, identifying change impacts across different audiences
  • Support the RTR GPO in producing programme deliverables, presenting to key stakeholders and ensuring sign off by key milestones
  • Identify and present key design decisions 
  • Highlight risks and issues, identifying mitigating actions needed to resolve and move these forward
  • Ensure roll outs are executed at the highest standard and milestones achieved
  • Work cross functionally with Finance, Production Finance and HR Global Process Owners when needed, ensuring the end solution works for all areas and all dependencies are identified
  • Update the Programme management team on progress and key items for discussion and action 
  • Support with data migration/cleansing, go live cutover activities and post go live support

 

Business Engagement

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to build the future Projects ledger and Assets ledger functions; listening, sensing and synthesizing different perspectives
  • Act as an intermediary between our external consultants and the business, removing barriers to progress and keeping the workstream moving
  • Assist with the deployment of new technology, including user testing, feedback, change management and end-user training 
  • Contribute to and support the production and delivery of business communications
  • Act as a change champion, supporting the transition to new ways of working 

 

Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate design workshops and sessions with subject matter experts

 

Minimum Criteria 

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant, ideally with experience of working in an Record to Report (RTR) function 
  • Experience of delivering process change within Finance and collaborating across teams and functions 
  • Experience of projects-based accounting

  • Must be a solutions-oriented problem solver 
  • Able to confidently challenge ideas and listen to others
  • Previous experience of working in a large organisation and a fast paced environment is desirable, but not essential
  • Willingness and ability to build excellent relationships across diverse teams
  • Willing to be flexible as scope, deadlines and deliverables shift during the project
